This chapter, and the next chapter of Faithfully Dangerous intertwine quite a bit, but I think that this order makes sense. For that reason, the final chapter of FD will be up on Thursday, the final chapter of this story will be up on Tuesday, and the third part will start posting next Thursday.

This nearly didn't get posted today. I didn't forget; it just hasn't been the best evening. If you want to make the author happy, send feedback. Also, this is right about where things start getting interesting as far as posting goes. Because both stories are complete at this point, and the sequel is approximately 1/3 to 1/2 done, posting may increase in frequency so that all the threads of the story get woven together in the right sequence.

My apologies that it's taken me so long to get back into the swing of things. You'll all be happy to know that I haven't been idle, however. This story is complete at 35 chapters, and "Faithfully Dangerous" should be finished shortly. Updates will now resume at their regularly scheduled times.

I suppose I should warn you all that we're rapidly moving toward the denouement, and posting schedules for this story and Faithfully Dangerous may need to be adjusted slightly so that things don't get too off kilter. If that's the case, I'll post more often whenever I can, rather than less often. It's just lucky for you guys that I find writing a good outlet while studying for the bar...
