Pairings/Characters: Helen/James, Eleanor Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt

Spoilers: Um, through “Normandy” just to be safe, although I’ve technically been Jossed.

Summary: As charming as Franklin could be, it was Eleanor’s intensity that drew Helen most.

A/N: Written for sanctuary_bingo, for the “Franklin Roosevelt” prompt. Written as a companion of sorts to “Snapshots of Resistance” and “Lending Support.” For the record, Breckenridge Long was the assistant secretary in charge of the visa division from about 1939 through 1944. He was instrumental in blocking refugee visas, particularly for Jews. And also, this was totally supposed to be Helen/Eleanor femmeslash, but they flat out refused to go there.

Pairings/Characters: James Watson, Helen Magnus, Neville Chamberlain
Spoilers: Through “For King and Country” just to be safe.
Word Count: ~2000
Summary: James Watson had advised a number of world leaders throughout his unnaturally long life, but this meeting felt even more important.
A/N: Written for the “James Watson” prompt for [community profile] sanctuary_bingo. Sort of fits with my story “Snapshots from the Resistance” although they both stand alone. For the record, the Bishop of Chichester, George Bell, was a real person. He was friends with Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who used their connection to pass inside information along to Bell and from there, the rest of British high command. Bell also worked with German refugees during the war.
